According to the Food Corporation of India (FCI), recruitment notification posted on the official website – fci.gov.in – 5043 seats are vacant to fill the positions for various departments including General, Accounts, Technical, and Depot.

FCI Category 3 Recruitment 2022 – Eligibility
- Candidates must be an Indian, Nepal or Bhutan citizen.
- Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years.
- The migrated citizens must have valid documents that confirm the permanent settlement in India.
- Furnishing certificates are required for the candidates who fall under the category of Scheduled Tribes (ST), Scheduled Caste (SC), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and Persons with Disabilities (PwS).

FCI Category 3 Recruitment 2022 – Exam Pattern
- The exam will be conducted through online mode.
- FCI will conduct the exam in two phases: Phase I and Phase II.
- There will be a total 100 questions for 100 marks that carries 1/4th negative marking for incorrect responses.
- If a question is left unanswered, then there will be no negative marking.
- The marks of Phase I examination will not be included while preparing the final merit list.

FCI Category 3 Recruitment 2022 – Salary
All employees working in any of the four services including General, Accounts, Technical, and Depot are entitled to a base salary ranging from INR 9,300 to INR 22,940 as well as other perks like earned leave, travel benefits, and medical costs.
